I had the pleasure of taking a sneak peek tour of the newly renovated Beach Bum - West O property and here are the deets.

This property is gorgeous! The cabins are so beautiful and updated. There are several cabins on the property (about 22) and I believe the event rental includes 4-6 of the cabins and can sleep about 30 people. There is an adjacent hotel on the property that is part of the space. Guests and friends can get rooms just steps away from the event space which is nice for no one needing to drive home after your wedding or event. Speaking of driving - there is a gorgeous shuttle ready to go to take your group into town for the after party, again, limiting the need to drive after a night of partying.

The ceremony can be held overlooking the water and it is so serene. The area is surprisingly quiet given the ease of access close to route 50. There are several hotels close by for overflow or guests who don’t want to stay that close to family and so many places to eat within a mile for food over the duration of your stay.

Now let’s talk about your tent! This tent is pristine. The flooring is a nice wood floor and not grass or concrete. It feels expensive to walk on this floor and see the raised roof tent, it doesn’t feel like your typical tented event. The wood is a nice upgrade, if there happens to be rain the week leading up to your event this will prevent a muddy ground beneath your guests while they dance. The space has removable sides you can add if needed and I believe their season goes into November.

Don’t skimp on checking this space out, it is gorgeous and worth making a trip out to check out.
